Faithful to the tradition of Santorini's unique architecture, our family has restored a group of 300 year- old caves that were once the homes, wineries and stables of indigenous fishermen and farmers. With the help of native craftsmen and using volcanic raw material, this historical setting has been transformed into an A Class complex of 18 private houses, reviving an age-old neighborhood called Perivolas.
The complex is set within an amphitheatrical landscape of curves stepping down to a central stone terrace with a pool that flows over the edge of the cliff into an Aegean horizon. Next to the pool, an old winery is reborn as an indoor restaurant and poolside bar. Perivolas encompasses 14.000 square meters of vineyards, wild fig trees, beds of red-hot geraniums, orange cactus flowers and fuchsia bougainvillea, enhancing our guests' privacy and tranquility.
